Carol O'brien

Hi I’m Carol, a Reiki Master with a deep connection and understanding of the gentle Reiki healing energy and its extremely powerful benefits which cover all parts of internal workings of the body, the mind and the soul.

18 years ago I walked away from a very toxic relationship, which left me searching for help. Along this pathway I learnt about Reiki healing and it’s amazing benefits. This led to Chi Kung Healing and Massage. Both these practices helped me understand what I had been through and how to help other people going through pain and trauma.

What is Reiki?

Facilitating a profound alignment of mind, body, and soul, Reiki acts as a catalyst for emotional equilibrium, physical healing, and mental restoration.

Originating from the visionary insights of Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist monk, over a century ago, Reiki is essentially the embodiment of Universal spiritual energy. This affectionate energy, an inherent part of every living being, including ourselves, flows naturally.

In the face of life’s pressures and adversities, one often experiences a depletion of physical and emotional well-being. Reiki emerges as a profoundly tranquil therapy that addresses various physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges, reinstating the body’s innate capacity for self-healing.

Mikao Usui envisioned Reiki as a universal source of well-being, intending to bring health and happiness to all, without exception.
